About Fence Nation
Proud to be voted the "Best of Jacksonville" Fence Contractor, recipient 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024.Fence Nation has been serving residential and commercial customers in Jacksonville and surrounding areas since 2021. There are some fence companies out there that love to charge really high prices while using low quality materials. This can lead to poorly built fences (and upset customers). However, at Fence Nation, we believe in doing things right and running an honest business. It’s our goal to use high quality materials and charge fair prices so that our customers can have an excellent fence that will last them many years.

It is the goal at Fence Nation to treat your family like our family. Great backyards make for great family times. Call Fence Nation today and start making some memories in your backyard. I started Fence Nation after I got tired of looking at my own backyard. I wanted a nice space for my family to spend time outside in our own private area. After I was diagnosed with cancer in early 2021 I felt a burning fire to open my own business. I grew up in a family of contractors and was no stranger to building things. I had spent the first 15 years of my adult life in the medical field helping others through nursing. During COVID-19 as a healthcare worker on the front lines I became overwhelmed with the changes to the medical establishment. My dream was to run my own successful business, so Fence Nation was founded.
From scrubs to Post hole diggers
I traded in my stethoscope for a shovel and a trailer. I love every minute of it and I can't imagine doing anything different now that I am on this journey. Recently Fence Nation was voted best fence contractor for 2021, 2022 2023 and 2024. This is a great blessing that highlights our commitment to service and quality.

Do you offer any kind of warranty?
Yes - we offer a 90-day warranty on our workmanship. In regards to material warranties, this will depend on the specific materials. When you reach out to us, we can offer more details on each of the material warranties.
Do I need to be home while you're here?
No - you don’t have to be home while we work on your fence. We understand that not everyone is able to take off from work. However, we ask that you give us your contact info in case we have any questions or unexpected issues.
How many years will my fence last?
This will depend on a number of factors such as the type of materials being used, their exposure to the elements, and how well the fence is maintained. On average, most fences last 20 years or longer.
How tall can we make my fence?
The majority of municipalities allow fences to be six feet tall. However, certain areas might have different zoning rules. Please check with your individual town or city to determine the maximum height allowed.
Do I need a permit?
Each municipality has its own building codes and requirements for permits. The property owner is typically responsible for obtaining the necessary permits and paying the fees involved. As part of our service to you, we at Fence Nation can obtain the permits on your behalf.
